2.  GENERAL NEWS :

We're finally "back up" and alive for the year !  

2007 was a pretty good year for BattleGroup, although we had a couple of poor outcomes. The postponement of the original CALEDONIA FURY at the end of the year was a MAJOR disappointment for us. We won't mince our words - we were badly let down by a fighter from the U.S.A. !  He cost us close to £5000 ! !   But that is history now.

2008 could be a phenomenal year for BattleGroup International.  We have some quality BIG events planned for the year ahead, and we are looking to develop more of the outstanding, young fighting talent that this country has in abundance !

DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THE CANADIAN POLISH FIGHTER -

TOMASZ KUCHARCEWSKI

WHO'S SUDDEN AND UNTIMELY DEATH WAS ANNOUNCED EARLIER IN THE YEAR.

B.G.I.'s director and 6 time World, Thai & Kick Boxing Champion Duncan Airlie James fought Tomasz way back in 2000, in Atlantic City, U.S.A.

VERY Best Wishes go out to Tomasz's family, friends, Albert Mady his trainer, and all connected with Tomasz.
